Simmons & Hanbury are exclusively mandated on a search for a Legal Counsel for a high calibre pension fund based in London. The role will work alongside a small team of great lawyers, who all worked at leading law firms before making the move in-house. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make their first move into an in-house role. Key responsibilities
Advise on a variety of pension law matters for both members and beneficiaries Maintain compliance and regulatory procedures regarding both pension Ombudsman and Regulator Support instructing external counsel with regards to disputes and contentious pension matters.
Experience requirements
Qualified lawyer in the UK with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience. Have trained and qualified with a leading law firm, within a transactional practice area. Excellent disputes and non-contentious experience.
