Legal Counsel | High-Growth SaaS Scale-up We are currently looking for a proactive Commercial Legal Counsel to join the internal legal team of a rapidly expanding technology company. You'll be reporting into a Head of Legal and working in a hugely exciting business. Role In this position, you will provide legal support across various functions, including commercial operations, corporate affairs, and business development. You will be instrumental in helping the business move forward by handling diverse and evolving areas of law. Key responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality legal advice on commercial contracts, IP law, data protection, and compliance initiatives. Leading the drafting and negotiation of third-party supplier contracts, particularly complex technology agreements.
Requirements
You should ideally have 2–4 years’ PQE in commercial law. Prior experience working in a SaaS scale-up or technology platform business is essential for this role. We are looking for someone with exceptional drafting and negotiation capabilities and a strong academic foundation. You should have an entrepreneurial mindset and be comfortable taking ownership of business-critical projects. Acting as the lead legal advisor for business development projects, overseeing the legal aspects of bids and franchising. Partnering with risk, compliance, and operational teams to ensure legal strategies align with broader business goals.
