Review Manager – Business Management (Legal Operations)

This is a standout opportunity to join a global law firm in a senior operational role focused on legal service delivery, quality, and best practice.
Sitting within the business management team, this role leads the firm’s matter review programme – a key initiative that helps ensure consistent, high-quality legal work across all practice groups.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership, partners, and business teams to plan and run reviews that evaluate how client matters are managed – from financial performance and risk to people, technology and overall efficiency. Using a mix of data, interviews and insight, you’ll identify what’s working, what needs improvement, and how the firm can raise the bar globally.
The role involves:
• Setting the strategy for the firm’s annual matter review cycle
• Leading cross-functional review teams and managing review delivery
• Gathering and analysing data across practices
• Reporting findings and advising on improvements
• Embedding recommendations into business plans
• Scaling this model globally
This isn’t a compliance or audit role – it’s about shaping how legal work is delivered at scale, supporting growth, consistency, and outstanding client service.
We’re looking for someone with:
• Experience in legal operations, practice management or consulting
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A strategic mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
• Confidence in managing senior relationships across regions
• A background in auditing, process review or performance improvement is a plus
