Level 2 Teaching Assistant - KS1 Classroom Support

The Role
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning across the classroom. You will assist with delivering engaging activities and supporting pupils who require additional help to reach their learning goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the class teacher during lessons and classroom activities
* Delivering small-group interventions in phonics, reading, and early maths
* Supporting pupils who need additional learning support
* Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
* Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to the teacher
* Helping to create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Has recent experience working in a UK primary school
* Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics
* Is patient, reliable and enthusiastic about supporting children
* Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
