£88.92 - £100.00 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join one of our Tameside primary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with children from Reception up to Year 6. You will be asked to provide general academic support - no 1:1 experience required, but school experience is essential.

Key responsibilities:

Support the class teacher with daily teaching and learning activities
Deliver targeted support to individuals and small groups
Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to planning and assessment under the guidance of the teacher
Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and staffRequirements:

Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or above) - essential
Recent experience working in a UK primary school
Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
Ability to engage and motivate learners
Committed, flexible and proactive with excellent communication skills
A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)How to apply
