Tempest Resourcing are looking for a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary SEND school in Manchester. This is a rewarding full-time role supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASC, complex needs and challenging behaviours.

About the Role

Full-time position within a specialist SEND setting

Supporting pupils with a range of needs across KS1/KS2

Occasional classroom cover, so confidence leading small groups is essential

Working closely with teachers, therapists and the wider support team

Helping create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

Level 3 TA qualification or Level 3+ Health & Social Care

Previous classroom-based experience is essential

Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and ASC

Experience in SEND schools or similar environments is highly desirable

Must have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
