Position Overview
You will join the Leveraged Finance Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Portfolio Management team as an Associate and will assist with, and improve, the depth and frequency of the credit monitoring of non-investment grade lending loans that are located in EMEA Leveraged Debt Capital Markets (LDCM)

Your key responsibilities
You will closely monitor the credit risk profile of non-investment grade credits booked in LDCM EMEA.
For the assigned coverage, the scope of work includes detailed understanding of credit business model, industry & competitive dynamics, capital structure, valuation, risks & mitigants, financial covenants, secondary debt trading levels, external corporate ratings and financial performance.
The role will be complemented by excel model detailing cashflows forecast.
The role entails close liaison with CRM (Credit Risk) alongside corporate finance & leverage finance origination teams with respect to capital markets transactions.
Your skills and experience
Previous relevant experience with leading accountancy or investment banking institutions
Educated to undergraduate degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience in finance or accountancy
Associated Chartered Accountant (ACA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualifications would be beneficial
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Solid technical skills (financial modelling, accounting and finance)
