LGV C Refuse Driver (HGV Class 2) - Immediate Start | Yate Depot

We are currently recruiting 3 experienced LGV C (HGV Class 2) Refuse Drivers to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis at our Yate Depot.

Location: Yate - South Gloucestershire

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (after 12 weeks) Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour Working Hours: 07:00 - 16:00 Shift Pattern: Monday to FridayRole Responsibilities:

Operating either: a 12-tonne kerbside recycling collection vehicle, or a 26-tonne refuse / garden waste collection vehicle (RCV) Completing scheduled collection routes safely and efficiently Working alongside a team of loaders Carrying out daily vehicle checks and adhering to safety regulations Assisting with loading duties where required (driver-loader role)Requirements:

Valid LGV C (Class 2) licence CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience in refuse or similar roles preferred Must arrive with basic PPE (safety boots, high-visibility clothing) Willingness to assist with loading when needed Reliable, punctual, and team-focusedWhat We Offer:
