Lift & Escalator Services Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Lift & Escalator Services Manager to oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of lift and escalator assets across a major commercial estate.This role is ideal for someone with a strong lift engineering background who is looking to move into, or further develop within, a technical management position.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the performance of lift and escalator maintenance contractors
Ensure compliance with statutory inspections, LOLER requirements, and safety regulations
Monitor breakdowns, repairs, and lifecycle works to minimise operational disruption
Review contractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Carry out inspections and audits of lift and escalator equipment
Oversee major repairs, refurbishments, and lifecycle projects
Analyse operational performance and lead contractor review meetings
Support budget planning, contract renewals, and asset lifecycle managementRequirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the lift and escalator industry
Background with a major lift or escalator company
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering
Experience in installation, modernisation or major repairs
Strong knowledge of industry regulations and Health & Safety
IOSH qualification desirableThis is a great opportunity to work in a high-profile environment managing critical vertical transport assets
