Shifts: 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts (6am to 6pm)
Pay Rates at 18 years of age or over:
Basic Hourly Rate £12.21 per hour.
Rising to £14.45 to include performance related bonus
Opportunity for overtime
Overtime Hourly Rate £15.83 per hour.
Rising to £17.16 to include performance related bonus
Job Overview:
Reporting directly to the Production Manager Line Leaders assist in the delivery of people management, safety, quality and daily production planning.
Primary duties & responsibilities to include:
Setting up the production line to complete specific orders.
Overseeing production line workers and ensuring that orders are completed on time and within budget.
Optimizing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner.
Performing recordkeeping tasks, ensuring all required paperwork is completed promptly, fully and accurately.
The Candidate:
Experience in a supervisory role is required.
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment ideally in Food or FMCG would be beneficial.
Superb leadership, interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving techniques.
Promote good working practices.
Reliable and trustworthy with a flexible approach must be available to work 6pm to 6am night shifts at peak periods.
