We represent local, national, and international insurers and corporate clients and are known for our strategic advocacy, litigation excellence, and collaborative culture.We are currently seeking a motivated Litigation Associate to join the litigation department in our Bridgewater, NJ office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking for hands-on litigation experience, meaningful courtroom exposure, and long-term professional growth within a supportive team environment.The ideal candidate will have experience defending New Jersey litigation matters from inception through resolution. This role offers immediate responsibility and active participation in all phases of litigation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of insurance defense mattersDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefsConduct and defend depositionsAttend court appearances and ADR proceedingsPrepare cases for trial and assist with trial and appeals.Communicate directly with clients and insurance carrier clientsMaintain accurate time entries and litigation management documentationQualificationsMinimum 1+ year of insurance defense and/or litigation experienceExperience in premises liability, trucking/auto, construction (personal injury and defect), dram shop, and other personal injury/property damage matters preferred.Admission to New Jersey State and Federal Courts requiredTrial experience and ability to independently manage a caseload is a plusWorking knowledge of New Jersey e-filing systems (New York e-filing a plus)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) within a virtual work platform for file handling and case managementExperience with legal billing and timekeeping systems, including accurate entry of billable timeStrong scheduling and calendar management skillsAbility to work independently with strong communication and organizational skillsDetail-oriented, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities in a digital environmentTeam-oriented with a flexible, solution-focused attitudeWe are seeking a detail-oriented attorney with strong organizational and time-management skills who thrives in a collaborative, professional environment.
