Job Description
Production Project Manager – Live Events
Reading onsite & event-based
£38-42k
Our client is a leading live events production company who are looking for an experienced Production Project Manager to deliver high-quality, end-to-end event solutions. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll lead projects from concept through to on-site execution.
Manage live event production projects from brief to delivery
Act as the main client contact, building strong relationships and understanding requirements
Develop technical solutions, proposals, and budgets aligned with client needs
Coordinate internal teams, freelancers, and suppliers
Oversee on-site delivery, ensuring seamless execution and high standards
Maintain budget control, timelines, and project documentation (including H&S/CDM)
Lead post-event reviews and identify opportunities for future work
Skills Needed
Strong experience delivering live events, exhibitions, or AV production projects Solid understanding of technical event systems (lighting, sound, video, rigging, scenic) Proven ability to manage teams, resources, and multiple stakeholders Excellent client-facing and communication skills Highly organised, proactive, and calm under pressure Experience with hire systems (e.g. HireHop) is a plus Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
