Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking a lively,cheerful Live-in Carer to support a lovely lady who has a Spinal

Cord Injury and is partially paralysed. The client resides independently in a well-equipped , adapted home in the Aylesbury HP19 area. She is supported by two live-in carers who work collaboratively to provide consistent care while ensuring each carer has ample rest and support. This role is ideal for someone who doesn't mind traveling , as the client visits her family overseas once a year and will need the carer to accompany her. Additionally, the carer will be required to assist with driving the client to local appointments, shopping, and outings. This opportunity is perfect for someone who values both care and companionship in a fulfilling role. With this client, you'll be engaged in a 2-week live-in assignment , succeeded by a 2-week rest period. Following 1-week rest, you have the option to work with another client for 1 week. Alternatively , if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota , working conveniently from home. Live-In Care Job Overview As a Carer (sometimes referred to as a Personal Assistant), you will assist the client with daily care, activities of daily living, and mobility needs. Specific duties will be detailed in the Client's care plan and daily activities, managed through our electronic visit system. Responsibilities include personal care, spinal injury toileting, mobility support, meal preparation, and more. Comprehensive training and support are provided to ensure you can deliver the necessary care. Responsibilities Observe and record the client's health status. Assist clients with activities of daily living. Ensure the client's safety. Maintain client confidentiality. Notify clients of changes in medications. Arrange transportation for client appointments.
