This is an excellent opportunity for 2 locum Consultant Obstetricians to join the existing team of 12 Obstetricians. These are fixed term locum contracts but work is ongoing to secure substantive posts in the future.It is essential that the post-holder should hold the MRCOG (UK) or an equivalent qualification and be on the GMC specialist register or will obtain a relevant CCT/CESR(CP) within 6 months of interview.Main duties of the jobConsultant Obstetrician with special interest in Medical Education and RCOG College Tutor roleThe successful candidates will work clinically as a full time Obstetrician with a job plan that focusses on labour ward, elective caesarean section lists and antenatal clinic work. The job plan will need to be flexible to allow robust cover for current rota gaps.The department is happy to consider candidates with any Obstetric special interest.
