Applications are invited for a locum consultant post in Medical Retina. This is a full‑time post to cover a twelve‑month career break.

Location: Aintree University Hospital, part of Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Group. The post is a 10‑Post‑Duty (PA) full‑time clinical post (8.5 PA of DCC and 1.5 SPA).

Clinical responsibilities include age‑related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular disease, macular disease and general and acute ophthalmology. The successful candidate will also provide general and emergency ophthalmic services within working hours (plus one in eight all‑day Saturday). No out‑of‑hours commitment otherwise.

Preferred start date: 1st June 2026.
