Job Description
We are recruiting a Logistics Analyst with DAX Formulas experience, to join our client's Material Planning team in Leicester for a 12 month renewable contract. \n\nReporting to the Material Requirements Planning Supervisor, you will support both day-to-day operations and tactical planning to ensure materials are shipped, received, stored and delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.\n In this role, you will improve inbound and outbound material flow, resolve scheduling and transport issues, manage inventory and supplier delivery schedules, and support production during off-shifts. You will also play a key role in developing data-driven insights and process automation using Power BI, Power Apps, Excel and SAP, while leading small to medium improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma principles.\n Key responsibilities:\n\nImprove inbound/outbound material flow and support continuous improvement initiatives\nInvestigate and resolve material scheduling, transport and supplier issues\nManage inventory levels and supplier delivery schedules; monitor supplier performance\nResolve invoice and inventory discrepancies\nDevelop dashboards and reports in Power BI for material planning analysis\nCreate Power Apps solutions to automate and streamline processes\nUse advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex lookups, macros/automation) for accurate reporting\nUse SAP for material planning and inventory management\nLead small to medium projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodsRequired qualifications & skills:\n\nPrevious material planning experience\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nExpertise in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, visualisation)\nProficiency in Power Apps and MS Office Suite\nAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, macros/automation) qualifications:\n\nAPICS CPIM or CSPC Certification\nDegree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering or similar\nSAP experienceRole: Logistics Analyst\n Location: Leicester\n Contract: 12 months\n Rate: £19.53 PAYE\n Notice: 4 Weeks\n Onsite 5 days per week\n\nf you are available and interested, please click Apply and ensure your CV is up to date and clearly highlights your relevant material planning and systems experience
