The Logistics Coordinator (Despatch / Shipping) will play a key role in logistics planning, shipping coordination, freight forwarding and ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time.As a Logistics Coordinator (Despatch / Shipping) you will manage despatch operations for UK and international shipments, ensuring compliance with export documentation, Incoterms and global shipping regulations. You will support supply chain efficiency, inventory flow and cost-effective transportation.The Logistics Coordinator (Despatch / Shipping) will work closely with internal teams, customers and freight forwarders to coordinate shipments, manage import/export processes and continuously improve on-time delivery performance.ABOUT USRedler Limited is a well-established Mechanical Handling Business with a 100-year history of supplying new equipment, aftermarket spares, and services.DUTIESYour duties as the Logistics Coordinator (Despatch / Shipping) include:Coordinate Logistics and Despatch: Manage the packing, scheduling and despatch of spare parts and project equipment to UK and global customersManage Shipping Documentation: Prepare export documentation, commercial invoices and packing lists in line with international trade requirementsEnsure On-Time Delivery: Monitor and improve on-time delivery (OTD) performance across all shipmentsOversee Packaging Solutions: Develop efficient and protective packing standards for all goodsLiaise With Stakeholders: Work closely with customers, freight forwarders and internal departments to coordinate shipments and collectionsHandle Import and Export Operations: Manage all inbound and outbound logistics, including customs and complianceEnsure Regulatory Compliance: Provide expertise on export regulations, Incoterms 2020 and shipping complianceControl Transport Costs: Identify cost-effective logistics and transportation solutionsVerify Goods and Documentation: Ensure all goods are inspected, labelled and dispatched with accurate paperworkCoordinate Certificates of Origin: Liaise with relevant bodies to obtain certification and legalisation of export documentsCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSPrevious experience in logistics coordination, supply chain or shipping rolesExperience with import / export processes, freight forwarding, customs documentation, chamber of commerce, letters of creditKnowledge of Incoterms, international shipping regulations and export complianceStrong organisational and logistics planning skills with the ability to manage multiple shipmentsExcellent communication skills for liaising with customers, suppliers and freight partnersExperience with warehouse operations, packaging and goods handlingHigh attention to detail when preparing shipping and export documentationAbility to work collaboratively within an operations, logistics or manufacturing environmentProficient IT skills, including logistics, ERP or order management systemsNO AGENCIES PLEASEWE ARE UNABLE TO SPONSOR CANDIDATES FOR THIS POSITIONHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
