Are YOU an experience AUTOMOTIVE LOGISTICS professional? My client is strengthening its UK OEM operations and is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support finished vehicle flow, dealer delivery coordination and vehicle registration activity. This role sits within a growing national operation and works closely with internal OEM functions to ensure vehicles move efficiently from supply chain through to the dealer network.

The position would be very exciting for someone with experience in an OEM, importer or national sales company environment who understands launch activity, dealer expectations and internal reporting lines. It offers broad exposure across logistics, registration, sales support and dealer-facing operations, making it well suited to someone looking to build a long-term career within an automotive OEM structure.

Salary: up to 35000

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the central OEM point of contact for the UK dealer network on vehicle delivery and registration queries
  • Liaise daily with finished vehicle logistics providers to support inbound processing and outbound deliveries
  • Support regional sales management and fleet teams with vehicle status, logistics and registration information
  • Coordinate information between logistics, sales and internal OEM departments
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with franchised dealers
  • Document and review vehicle logistics processes to support operational consistency and continuous improvement
  • Support ad hoc operational and logistics tasks aligned with national sales company activity


Key Requirement

  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Experience working in an OEM, importer, national sales company or equivalent automotive environment
  • Understanding of finished vehicle logistics and dealer delivery operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced OEM operation
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience in finished vehicle logistics desirable
