Our client, a privately owned Logistics provider and a pioneer in providing Logistics worldwide is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their international operations team based in their Northampton office. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager with the primary purpose of coordination towards Multi & Intermodal traffic worldwide. The main duties will include: Receiving bookings and organizing required transport / equipment for multimodal shipments Accurate preparation and completion of export cargo documentation liaising directly with the shipping lines, hauliers, customs agents, stevedores, forwarders, oversees offices / operations staff and third party agencies Provide consistent reports to customers (tracking, issues, delivery schedules etc.) Data entry into the in-house transport and accounts systems Raising sales invoices within the inhouse freight system.
