An established and growing manufacturing company is seeking a highly organised and experienced Logistics Executive to join its dynamic supply chain team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of inbound and outbound goods, while driving continuous improvement across logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities as Logistics Executive will be to: -

Plan and manage logistics capacity to support factory operations, warehousing, and outbound distribution. Liaise with third-party logistics providers to ensure optimal service at the best value. Coordinate outbound deliveries (including groupage, full loads, and collections), ensuring accurate consignment preparation and efficient routing. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance with UK regulatory requirements. Provide clear and complete customs instructions (e.g., HS Codes, CPC, Importer/Exporter of Record, VAT/duty allocations). Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks by implementing process improvements. Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly operational meetings, offering insight and reporting on logistics performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth and efficient material flow.
