What you will be doing You will play a vital role in supporting production through efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, ensuring smooth operations within a safety-conscious environment. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will contribute to maintaining high standards and meeting customer requirements. * Accurately record goods information and report discrepancies promptly. * Prepare, complete, and deliver orders on time, liaising with couriers or using company vehicles. * Maintain effective stock control within the company’s reporting system. * Raise Purchase Orders for secondary operations such as subcontracting. * Assist with internal and external customer support activities. * Keep work equipment, vehicles, and workstations clean, safe, and well-maintained. * Participate in training initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement. * Report hazards and near misses, championing health and safety policies. What we are looking for The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and has previous experience in a logistics or general operative role within an engineering or manufacturing setting.
