Our client a well established engineering company based in Cardiff is seeking a Weighbridge/Logistics operator to join their business on a temporary ongoing contract to start ASAP. About the role Immediate start, Ongoing position Working hours: Shifts, DAYS AND NIGHTS - 4 on / 4 off The hourly rate is £12.21ph The job role: You'll be the point of contact for logistics in and out of site. Weighing vehicles (lorries/trains) checking that the weight of the loads are correct Issuing the correct documentation whether that's delivery documents, waste management documentation or scrap transactions. You'll need to keep safety at the forefront of your mind and ensure that drivers follow site rules and have the correct PPE, and able to challenge when something is right. You'll be a strong communicator as you'll be communicating with drivers as well as internal departments such as our planning team.
