Closing Date: 11:59pm, 6th Feb 2026 Start Date: ASAP About This Role Great Hollands Primary School is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Controller to join our dedicated team. This vital role involves supervising children – across all year groups – during the lunch break, ensuring their safety and wellbeing, and promoting positive behaviour and play. As a Lunchtime Controller, you will help create a happy and inclusive environment where children feel supported and encouraged. The Successful Candidate Will Be
Hardworking, committed, and able to inspire, motivate and encourage children at all levels. Capable of monitoring the children’s activities prior to, during and after lunch to minimise risks. Staying actively involved in promoting the values of the school during lunch hour so that social, emotional and educational learning is promoted. Ensuring the lunchtime provision offers children a variety of stimulating learning through facilitating games, clubs and activities. Recording all accidents in the accident book and reporting them to the teacher/s so that appropriate action may be taken. Observing Health and Safety regulations relating to the school at all times, including first aid.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Enjoys working with children. Has good interpersonal and communication skills. Is reliable. Can show initiative and work independently as required. Has the ability to develop positive and caring relationships with children. Is comfortable working with children of different ages and those who may have additional complex needs.
