We’re hiring for a Machine Operator to join a leading manufacturer based in Bollington, Cheshire.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for operating a slitting machine and assisting with finishing technician duties to ensure the smooth production and delivery of high-quality products.

* Mon – Thurs 8:00am – 4:00pm / Fri 8:00am – 3:00pm (36.5 hour week)

What will you be doing as a Machine Operator?

* Setting up and operating the slitting machine to cut materials to specification

* Monitoring machine performance and carrying out basic adjustments or maintenance as needed

* Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy

* Assisting in finishing technician duties such as labelling, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch

What do you need?

* Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment

* A practical and hands-on approach to work with strong attention to detail

* Ability to follow technical instructions and quality standards

* A proactive and reliable work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills

* Experience with slitting or finishing processes (advantageous but not essential)
