Know How Resourcing is seeking Machine Operators on behalf of our client based in Knaresborough.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production, high quality, and safety standards.

Shift: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

* Operate and monitor machinery according to production schedules and company guidelines.

* Set up machines before starting production to ensure proper functioning.

* Perform routine inspections to identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues.

* Measure and check finished products for quality compliance using gauges, calipers, or other tools.

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures and regulations.

* Record production data, including quantities, downtime, and machine performance.

* Collaborate with maintenance teams to perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance.

* Follow work instructions, blueprints, or specifications to meet customer requirements.

What We’re Looking For

* Solid mechanical knowledge and experience operating machinery.

* Welding skills are a plus but not essential.

* Confident with basic maths for measurements and production calculations.

* Familiarity with CAD software- SolidWorks experience is particularly valued.

* Experience in tooling and fabrication is .

* High attention to detail and accuracy when working from technical drawings.

* Strong problem-solving skills and a team-focused attitude.
