Job Overview
Were recruiting an experienced Machine Operator to support and drive our production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining packaging machinery from flow wrappers to bottling lines ensuring output meets quality, efficiency, and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor packaging machinery including flow wrapping and bottling/filling lines

Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely throughout shifts

Carry out regular quality checks on products and packaging output

Maintain accurate production records and report outputs to supervisors

Complete routine cleaning, minor adjustments and preventative maintenance

Troubleshoot basic machine issues and escalate where necessary

Ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety standards (BRC/ISO)

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Previous experience operating industrial packaging or production machinery

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment

Excellent attention to detail and quality focus

Good communication and team-working skills

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Basic IT skills for recording production data

Forklift licence desirable (not essential)
