Machine Tool Fitter

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Tool Fitter to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the build, assembly and installation of special purpose machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Precision machine fitting Fitting and assembling various machine sub-assemblies (e.g., Spindles, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Lubrication systems) Working to very tight tolerances Pipe bending & swaging Good knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics Operating machine shop equipment such as millers, lathes, and grinders Ability to use measuring & inspection tools such as Verniers, Micrometers & gauges Must be able to read & understand engineering drawings and schematicsRole Requirements:
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Proficiency in reading drawings and fluid schematics Precision fitting, working to very tight tolerances. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime when required Must hold a valid UK driving license and passport for international travelExperience Needed:
Mechanical Engineering qualifications (City & Guilds or BTEC) Previous experience as a Machine Tool Fitter or working in bespoke machine building Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems Experience using machine shop equipment Problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement are highly desirableWhat Our Client Offers:
