The Role
We're looking for a Machinis t to join our factory team in Gillingham, working on the production and preparation of fire doors using specialist machinery.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Contract: Self-employed for the first 3 months, with a clear pathway to a permanent position
This is a hands-on role where precision, consistency, and attention to detail are key.
What You'll Be Doing
Operating and setting up machinery within a production environment
Assisting with the manufacture and preparation of fire doors
Working to technical specifications and production standards
Carrying out quality checks to ensure compliance
Supporting the team to meet production targets and deadlines
Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working with machinery / production equipment
CNC experience (advantageous but not essential)
Confidence using or learning computer-controlled machinery
A quick learner with a proactive attitude
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
A reliable, professional approach to work
