Maintenance and Production Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established company within the manufacturing sector, for a hands-on Maintenance and Production Technician. This role is split between supporting production operations and carrying out maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities for a Maintenance and Production Technician:

Perform basic mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
Respond to breakdowns and support fault finding
Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Support day-to-day production operations to maintain efficiency
Help install or modify machinery where required
Maintain basic maintenance records
Help on the shop floor with production operative duties such as Drilling and Sawing.
Key Skills for a Maintenance and Production Technician:

Hands-on mechanical or maintenance experience desirable
Background in manufacturing, production, or similar environment
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Basic understanding of mechanical systems
Good teamwork and communication skills
Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn
