ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES ​
Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the Banff Gondola while maintaining the highest standard of quality Performing daily maintenance checks as assigned Maintain the upkeep of all buildings, grounds and lift terminals including snow shoveling and operation of snow clearing equipment Complete basic repairs and assist Supervisors and Managers with major repairs Encourage and participate in safe work practices Assist on the lift and in the parking lot as required Frequent interaction with coworkers, management and guests Providing visitors a high-quality experience and ensuring a high level of customer service is given to each guest Report to the Operations Manager and complete all projects and tasks as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Prior maintenance experience an asset Previous trade experience an asset (Basic Carpentry, plumbing or Mechanical) Current Alberta Driver's License Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision Able to speak, read, write and understand English Proven ability to work within strict policy/procedures and guidelines Lift operations experience an asset Leadership qualities Ability to take direction under stressful conditions First Aid Training an asset Able to lift up to 20lbs (frequently) up to 100lbs (occasionally) To honour our commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record check
The starting wage for this role is $24.00/hour
