Maintenance Contracts Manager (Building Compliance)
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
We are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Contracts Manager in our Building Compliance team, who will be leading a professional compliance team and specialist subcontractors in reactive, pre-planned maintenance (PPM) across the University portfolio. Do you have experience managing maintenance contracts? Are you able to influence and negotiate to ensure high-quality maintenance delivery? Would you like to contribute to making the University of Leeds Estate world-class?
You will be responsible for the technical leadership of a small team of trade staff, acting as a key contact for a large and diverse portfolio of university buildings. You will also manage specialist contractors, leading and coordinating the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works to ensure compliance and high standards of quality.
You should have experience working with others to achieve high standards of maintenance within a large or complex environment. The ability to work pragmatically to deliver planned and reactive maintenance on time, within budget, and to quality standards is essential.
