EA Recruitment have been instructed by our client, a specialist lettings and property maintenance company based in North London to recruit a Maintenance Controller to join their team. The responsibility of the Maintenance Controller involves the general management of the Maintenance Operatives, overseeing the allocation of maintenance jobs, and that all tasks are completed to the required standard, and within a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years working within a Property Maintenance role. Job responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Dealing with incoming reports of maintenance issues * Liaising with tenants to understand the issues and identify best way to proceed * Liaising with contractors (both in house and subcontractors) to organise quotes/works * Liaising with Landlords and tenants to ensure works are completed efficiently * Organising key management for access * sign off completed works then pass invoices over to the Head of Department to deal with accounts Experience/skills required: * 3 years + experience working within a Maintenance Management role * Strong communication skills...
