The Role Wiring control panels and special purpose machines to detailed electrical drawings Installing and connecting PLCs, motors, drives, relays, transformers, HMIs, and sensors Carrying out on-machine wiring, including trunking, cable trays, junction boxes, and cable management systems Conducting fault finding, testing, and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and wiring standards Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Working collaboratively with the wider engineering team to resolve issues The Person A fully time-served industrial electrician Experience in control panel and on-machine wiring Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings Reference BBBH 23733 Key Words: Electrical Technician, Control Panels, Wiring, PLCs, Fault Finding, Electrical Drawings, Somerset, On-Machine Wiring, Safety Standards, Manufacturing Environment.
