Job Title: Electrician (Facilities Management)\n\nLocation: Manchester - Large Commercial Build\nReporting to: Electrical Supervisor / FM Manager\n\nJob Purpose\n\nWe are looking for a qualified Electrician to join the Facilities Management team on a large commercial site in Manchester. The role involves delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure all building systems operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works.\n\nFault-find, repair, and maintain lighting, power, emergency lighting, and distribution systems.\n\nInstall, modify, and upgrade electrical systems as required.\n\nComplete testing, inspection, and associated certification in line with BS 7671.\n\nEnsure all works comply with health & safety legislation and site procedures.\n\nAccurately complete job reports, compliance records, and maintenance documentation.\n\nLiaise with FM teams, supervisors, and other trades to minimise disruption.\n\nSupport out-of-hours works and emergency call-outs when required.\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nProven experience as a commercial or FM Electrician.\n\nStrong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.\n\nExperience working in large commercial environments.\n\nGood communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.\n\nQualifications\n\nNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).\n\n18th Edition (BS 7671).\n\nAM2\nTesting & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) desirable.\n\nECS / JIB Gold Card .\n\nDesirable\n\nFM or building maintenance experience.\n\nIPAF, PASMA, or similar site certifications
