Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies. \n\nThis will be a mobile role working covering Plymouth and the surrounding areas.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition as a minimum.\n\nThe role will be working as part of a team working at a number of retail sites in the region undertaking a range of building maintenance duties. The purpose of this role carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.

\nDuties:\n\nSupport other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.\nComplete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.\nPrioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.\nEnsuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.\nAlthough aligned to an area for the purpose of PPM completion there may be times that the Technician will be required to attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work.\nWork with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.\nRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with client and colleagues.\nCarry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI's.\nMonitor and update the Mercury system accurately ensuring live job updates from you and your team at all times.\n\nQualifications \nNVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / parts 1 & 2\n Or recognized apprenticeship equivalent\n 18th Edition\n\nSalary / Package\n\nBasic Salary - £36558 + £1500 (competency payment after catering equipment training) + £2535 standby payments = £40593\n Travel time paid after first 30m at overtime rate \n Overtime 1.5x Monday to Friday, 2x Saturday and Sunday\n Call Out - 1 in 4 weeks\n Private Health Care\n 33 days holiday inclusive of banks \n Life Insurance\n Company vehicle with private use\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that offers continued progression and opportunities for further development.
