Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days)
Salary: £40,400
Hours: Day shift
A well-established manufacturing operation is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair production equipment, ensuring maximum machine uptime. This is a hands-on, days-based role suited to a proactive engineer with strong fault-finding skills and a commitment to safe working practices.
The hours for this role are 6am-2pm & 10am-6pm.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with agreed schedules.

Provide first-line response to equipment breakdowns.
*
Fault find and repair extrusion lines, moulding machines, automated cells, ancillary equipment, and butt fusion equipment.
*
Complete mechanical and electrical maintenance work safely and efficiently.
*
Implement agreed improvement and modification work on capital equipment.
*
Record maintenance activities, downtime, and data using a CMMS system to support KPIs.
*
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and equipment reliability.
Skills & Experience
*
Time-served Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship.
*
Previous experience working within a manufacturing maintenance role.
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability.
*
Ability to work effectively within a team with good communication skills.
