Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)

We're looking for a hands-on Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Great Yarmouth. This is a varied and practical role, working across equipment and site facilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.

The Role

You'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving electrical systems across the site, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key duties include:

  • Electrical installations, upgrades and modifications

  • Planned and reactive maintenance on equipment

  • Fault-finding on motors, drives, pumps and control systems

  • Daily ride inspections and safety checks

  • Assisting with ride assembly and dismantling

  • Maintaining electrical equipment and site facilities

  • Ensuring all work complies with health & safety standards

  • Occasional work at other company-operated locations

About You

We're looking for someone reliable, practical and confident working both independently and as part of a team.

You will ideally have:

  • Minimum 3 years' electrical maintenance experience

  • 18th Edition (desirable)

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

  • Experience with motors, drives, pumps and PLC fault-finding

  • Electrical testing experience (including PAT testing)

  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (advantageous)

  • Comfortable working at height (advantageous)

Working Hours
  • Peak season: Includes weekends and some evening shifts

  • Winter period: Monday to Friday day shifts

Location
