About the RoleI’m currently recruiting on behalf of a **well-established and forward-thinking company **for a Nightshift Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be a key part of the maintenance team, helping keep production running through a mix of reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance.

What You’ll Be Doing
Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across plant and machinery

Work in a proactive, preventative maintenance environment

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults

Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce repeat breakdowns

Support continuous improvement and reliability projects

Liaise with contractors and ensure RAMS compliance

Update and maintain records on the CMMS system

Complete remedial work following PPM activities

About You
Electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer

Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent apprenticeship)

Mechanical experience beneficial

Background in heavy engineering / manufacturing / industrial environments

Strong experience in reactive and planned maintenance

Confident fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems

Experience with or exposure to PLC systems

Comfortable working independently on a nightshift pattern
