A well-established independent manufacturer, specialising in fine chemicals and rubber accelerators, is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer: Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team and oversee external contractors as required. Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance systems to ensure optimal operation of equipment. Design, specify, and install electrical systems for capital projects, maintenance, and upgrades while controlling expenditure within authorised budgets. Ensure all electrical work complies with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements. Act as a technical authority on all electrical matters within the business. Support and develop team capabilities through training and mentorship. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies including HSE and EA. (ATEX/CompEx knowledge desirable but training can be provided.)
