I have a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy, high-volume production site in Bilston near Wolverhampton. My client is well established within its field and produces some big brand products for the likes of Screwfix, B&Q and Wickes. They are looking for a mechanically bias maintenance engineer who will have worked in a heavy engineering environment.
This position would be ideal for someone with plant maintenance skills and a good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. You will be working a continental shift pattern, and you will be paid a lifestyle bonus of £47 for every weekend day worked (excluding overtime). This will take your salary to around £52,725.96
Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
* £49,725.96 (£52,314.96 with lifestyle payment).
* OT at premium rates (x1.5).
* £47.08 lifestyle payment (paid every rostered weekend day).
* 5% matched pension.
* 23 days holiday.
Maintenance Engineer Duties include:
* Continental shift 2 days – 2 nights.
* Make improvements to production.
* To always maintain manufacturing machinery.
* To ensure all data recording and feedback is completed accurately and on time.
* Preventive maintenance.
* Installation work where necessary.
* To maintain safe working practices at all times.
* To undertake training as required.
* Mechanical and electrical fault finding.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:
* Recognised Engineering Qualifications.
* Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
* Siemens S7 understanding.
* Heavy engineering background.
* Welding (advantageous).
* Strong fault-finding abilities.
