What we can offer you; * 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays * Access to our company pension scheme * Free physiotherapy service * Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers * Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to * Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential What you'll be doing; * Plan and deliver preventative maintenance programs, overhauls, and planned shutdowns while managing budgets and minimising downtime * Respond to emergency breakdowns using diagnostic expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions quickly * Manage and coordinate maintenance subcontractors, ensuring compliance with site procedures and quality requirements * Monitor and maintain strict adherence to health & safety legislation, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems * Maintain accurate maintenance records, audit trails, and equipment histories using CMMS, plus manage spares inventory and stock control What we're looking for; * Time-served engineer with completed apprenticeship and City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (ideally mechanical bias) * Manufacturing/production background in medium to heavy engineering - processing plants, production facilities, or recycling operations * Hydraulics expertise - hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic systems and components * Mobile plant experience - working with conveyors, material handling systems, automated machinery, or production equipment * Multi-skilled capability (desirable) - background in both mechanical AND electrical engineering disciplines * Full UK driving licence (desirable) - occasional travel to other sites may be required.
