Contract Maintenance Engineer (Outside IR35) £35.00 Per Hour Wirral 4 on 4 off Days/Nights gap technical are proud to be representing an established manufacturing business in their search for Contract Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers to work at their facility based on the Wirral Performance Objectives

\n Minimise downtime through close attention to regular maintenance of equipment.

\n

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance duties

\n

Maintain an accurate log of planned activity and breakdowns recording shift reports via CMMS

\n

Work closely with engineering and factory colleagues.

\n

Ensure a prompt response to breakdown or plant failure.

\n

Ensure compliance with health & safety and operating procedures

\n

\n

Person Specification

\n

\n You will need to have served a recognised Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship to a minimum equivalent standard of City &Guilds to an Industrial standard with knowledge of modern control techniques.

\n

If electrically biased the requirement is the I.E.E 17th Edition qualification.

\n

If mechanically biased the requirement is the safe working knowledge for basic electrical fault finding and lock off / isolation procedures on and around industrial equipment.

\n

Experience preferably in food or packaging manufacturing

\n
