I have a fantastic opportunity for Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy, high-volume production site in Bilston near Wolverhampton. My client is well established within its field and produces some big brand products for the likes of Screwfix, B&Q and Wickes. They are looking for an electrically bias maintenance engineer who will have an understanding of Siemens S7 and have worked in a heavy engineering environment.

This position would be ideal for someone with plant maintenance skills and a good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. You will be working a continental shift pattern, and you will be paid a lifestyle bonus of £47 for every weekend day worked (excluding overtime). This will take your salary to around £52,314.96

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

• £49,725.96 (£52,314.96 with lifestyle payment).
• OT at premium rates (x1.5).
• £47.08 lifestyle payment (paid every rostered weekend day).
• 5% matched pension.
• 23 days holiday.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

• Continental shift 2 days 2 nights.
• Make improvements to production.
• To always maintain manufacturing machinery.
• To ensure all data recording and feedback is completed accurately and on time.
• Preventive maintenance.
• Installation work where necessary.
• To maintain safe working practices at all times.
• To undertake training as required.
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:

• Recognised Engineering Qualifications.
• Electrical qualifications is a must.
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
• Siemens S7 understanding.
• Heavy engineering background.
• Welding (advantageous).
• Strong fault-finding abilities.
