£39,000 – £46,000 | 4 On / 4 Off | Clacton-on-Sea

?? The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining uptime and reliability within a busy operational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding on industrial machinery

  • Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to maximise reliability

  • Reactive breakdown response to minimise downtime

  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects

  • Working closely with operations and fellow engineers

  • Ensuring all work is completed to health & safety and engineering best practice

Shift Pattern (Major Selling Point)

  • 4 on / 4 off

  • Days only – no nights

  • Excellent work–life balance

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

  • Background in industrial, manufacturing, FMCG, or process-driven environments

  • Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, apprenticeship, or equivalent)

  • Proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
