A well-established manufacturing business is looking to add an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their team at a busy production site in West Bromwich.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident working across a range of machinery and site equipment, supporting both reactive and planned maintenance as well as ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery, including liquid filling machines and press rollers
Reactive breakdown support and planned preventative maintenance
General facilities maintenance across site
Supporting process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reliability
Working closely with the site electrician to resolve faults and keep production running

What We're Looking For:

Strong mechanical maintenance background within manufacturing
Confident fault finding and problem solving across a range of machinery
Experience with filling machinery or similar process equipment is advantageous
A self-sufficient engineer who can take ownership of issues and see them through
Someone experienced and reliable, comfortable working in a standalone capacity alongside an electrician
