Key Responsibilities: - Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance on a variety of special-purpose machinery and machine tools. - Troubleshoot and resolve machine faults to minimise production downtime. - Implement improvements to enhance machine performance and reliability. - Maintain the building infrastructure to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. - Collaborate with the production team to support continuous manufacturing operations.
Skills, Experience, and Education: - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and document maintenance activities. - Knowledge/Expertise: Experienced mechanical engineer with some electrical skills; familiarity with CNC machinery is advantageous. - Innovation: Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance machine performance and reliability. - Business Impact: Demonstrated ability to support continuous production and precision manufacturing standards through effective maintenance practices.
Accountabilities: - Ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks to support uninterrupted production. - Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
