Monday to Friday (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)

A well-established manufacturing business based in Cardiff is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its engineering team.

This role is ideal for an engineer seeking a Monday–Friday shift pattern, long-term stability, and a supportive working environment within a structured manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding to minimise downtime
• Support production teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health & safety standards
• Assist with continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Requirements

• Maintenance Engineer with electrical or mechanical bias
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Recognised engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
