22:00pm – 06:30am Tuesday - Saturday

The Role

You’ll be the engineer keeping a high-volume food manufacturing site moving through the night.

This isn’t a “sit and wait” maintenance job.

You’ll be:

  • Owning breakdowns and getting lines back up, fast
  • Diagnosing faults across electrical, mechanical, PLCs, pneumatics
  • Delivering planned & preventative maintenance that actually prevents problems
  • Supporting changeovers, tweaks, and continuous improvement on live production lines
  • Working side-by-side with ops to keep output high and waste low

In short: you keep production running.

What You’ll Bring

  • A recognised engineering apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3+ or equivalent)
  • Strong electrical fault-finding with solid mechanical knowledge
  • Experience in FMCG / food / fast-paced manufacturing (ideal, not essential)
  • Confidence working with PLCs, sensors, motors, pneumatics
  • The mindset to own problems, not pass them on
