Our client operates within a high-demand industrial environment and is investing in engineering excellence to maintain operational performance, safety, and reliability.This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, forward-thinking organisation offering competitive salary, structured shifts, and long-term career progression.The RoleAs an Mechanical Biased Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving plant equipment within a FMCG processing environment.Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights), you will ensure maximum plant uptime through reactive and planned maintenance activities.Performance ObjectivesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Diagnose and repair mechnanical faults on production and process equipmentWorking on process and packaging equipmemtFault finding on Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Mechanical Drive SystemsSupport continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with health & safety and site regulationsMinimise downtime and improve reliability across the plantExtensive use of CMMS for work recordinGAccurate shift reporting and handover.
