Salary: £59,000 OTE

Shift: Monday - Thursday (12-hour shifts) | Fri, Sat, Sun OFF

The Role

In this position, you won't just be "fixing things" - you'll be the heartbeat of our production line. You will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and rapid breakdown response within a heavy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Mastery: Fault finding on PLC systems, motors, drives, and control panels.

Mechanical Support: Assisting with hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor system repairs.

Optimization: Identifying ways to reduce downtime and improve machinery efficiency.

Safety First: Ensuring all work adheres to strict health and safety industrial standards.

The Numbers & Schedule

We believe in transparency. Here is exactly how your package breaks down:

Base Salary: £48,000 (Contracted to 42 hours).

Guaranteed Overtime: Because you work 48 hours a week (4 x 12h shifts), those extra 6 hours are paid at a premium rate, bringing your actual annual take-home to £59,000.

Shift: Monday to Thursday 12 hour shift 1 week of days, 1 week of nights.

About You

To hit the ground running, you'll need:

Electrical Bias: A relevant qualification (Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent).

Manufacturing Experience: You know the pace and pressure of a production environment.

Problem Solver: You enjoy the diagnosing complex electrical faults.

Local Proximity: Based within a commutable distance of the Loughborough/Leicestershire area.
